此曲是迪士尼动画片《风中奇缘》的主题曲，获第六十八届奥斯卡最佳电影歌曲。艾伦·曼肯(Alan Menken)作曲，斯蒂芬·舒瓦兹(Stephen Schwartz) 填词，范妮莎·威廉姆斯(Vanessa Williams)主唱。

歌曲的主旨在于倡导人们热爱自然，热爱生命，热爱生活。歌曲体现着对大自然的深情和思考，悠扬的旋律把人的思绪带到了一望无垠的原野，蓝天、白云、鲜花、绿草、清风、静水......富饶的大自然随着生命之韵律生生不息的运转着、延续着……

《风的色彩》除演唱版本外，还有钢琴、排萧、长笛、吉他等多种演绎版本。视频选用的是排箫版《风的色彩》。
