爱华网近一年没在这写些什么了。变懒乎？非也，变俗哉！整天营营役役疲于奔命，精力和心境只能应付在睡前于床头灯下看看《读者》中的轻短文了。当时得令的网络红人凤姐还常写诗、饱览《知音》和《故事会》呢，罢罢罢，无人敢直掠其锋，咱不会娱人，那就还守着这“一亩三分地”偶尔写写东西自娱吧。
Conny在港运作她远在西安的大画家舅舅蔡小华的作品画册出版事宜。因为要面向国际所以有些文章要译成英文版本。她昨天发来一篇据说是清华大学艺术系的访问学者、名女画家胡戎品蔡小华艺术创作的美文要俺立马译就以供急用。俺非英文系科班出身，在校时学英文是应付考试，成绩乏善可陈，工作后再恶补英文是因不幸身陷香港这个前英殖民地魔窟不得不常与“鬼佬”周旋，所擅写者唯邮件、合同、新产品推介和说明书耳！如此而已，岂有它哉？所幸做事认真勤勉，一向对文章的遣词造句的准确和文采有追求，故在这受人所托当儿，能以“舍我其誰”的匹夫气概勉力为之。
胡的行文风格和某些表达方式也像这些画家们的画作一样有时让人云里雾里，要看懂再试图译得“信、达、雅”令我颇费周折。为此我还百度了蔡画家的一些作品先感受一下其中意境，然后用上昨天一晚加今天一个中午初试啼莺，我的译文初稿下午就发给远赴新加坡开会的Conny了。错处和瑕疵留待发现后再修改和润泽吧。还望蔡、胡两位艺术大师和Conny小姐多多担待则个。

蔡小华的近期作品有一种“感时花溅泪，恨别鸟惊心”的伤感，并进入发现当下的生命状态。于是他是创作情绪与现实的生活状态便见于画布上，我们从他的作品中聆听着他的淡淡忧伤。他把世界万物融化在自己的灵魂中，使作品趋向与直觉性、叙述性或象征性。把自己的情怀彻底的还给这个世界，创作了更属于这个世界的艺术，这也是画家另一种现实生活的原因。
Chai Xiaohua's recent worksare somewhat sentimental, which remind us of a line of verse‘Troubled by the times--flowers bringtears, and dreading parting--birds startle the soul’. Hespreaded creative expressions on canvases, together with the hintsof his emotions and realistic life. Wecan feel a slight touch of desolation in his works. Profit frommerging everything on earth into his soul, he makes his works tendto instinctive, expressive and indicative. And in return, hededicates his passion to this world inside out, creates for theworld the works that are not lacking in flesh and blood.
蔡小华的抽象性的艺术语言，无论是符号、线条、设色、结构，都在现代观念中浮现出东方文化色彩与人文精神，是有与大众审美共同阅读的可能。作品表现了画家内心世界的那份关怀，并以独特的审美直觉诠译了当代艺术创作的主题，表达了艺术家对社会人文意识形态的关注。

我们从蔡小华的作品中，看到了一种沉积在东方文化里的意识形态里，并不可避免让我们坦然的面对，也是艺术家个人的极端意识的问题。有这种意识上的“精神分裂”画家更相信这种灵性的存在，是一个非常有趣的状态，“梦'怎能醒！
