爱华网在中国早期引进的美国电影当中，有一部《千年痴情》（又名《木头美人》）的爱情轻喜剧相信出生在80年代左右的人都不会陌生，影片以一个具有欧洲特色的童话故事为背景，讲述了因为爱情遭遇迫害的男女主角经历了千年之后以一种非常偶然的方式重新相遇并再续前缘的故事。电影是由当时的上海电影制片厂译制的，几位担任配音演员的前辈水准非常高，加上题材纯真向善，在同时期引进的一批外国电影当中这一部受欢迎的程度明显高于其他的影片。
这可是的的确确的“国产”片，可惜产的只是配音
