Efficacy comparison of LARS artificial ligament and autologous semitendinosus combined with partial Peroneus longus tendon reconstructing posterior cruciate ligament

[Abstract] Objective To compare the effect of ligament advanced reinforcement system (LARS) and autologous semitendinosus combined with partial peroneal longus tendon reconstructing posterior cruciate ligament (PCL). Methods From September 2014 to January 2016, in Shengjsing Hospital of China Medical University, the clinical data of 58 patients who underwent PCL reconstruction surgery with LARS artificial ligament (LARS group, 30 cases) and semitendinosus tendon autograft (allograft group, 28 cases) were selected retrospectively analyzed. KT-1000 measurement, International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) scores system, Lysholm knee scores scale and Tegner scores scale before and after surgery were uesd for knee joint function assessment. Results All 58 cases were followed up. Afetr surgery, KT-1000 results, IKDC scores, Lysholm knee scores and Tegner scores of two groups improved than before syrgery, the differences were statistically significant (P 0.05). Conclusion LARS artificial ligament and autologous semitendinosus combined with partial peroneal longus tendon can produce satisfactory clinical outcomes in the PCL reconstruction, and LARS artificial ligament can provide a better knee stability.

后交叉韧带(posterior cruciate ligament,PCL)是膝关节强有力的韧带,强度为前交叉韧带(anterior cruciate ligament,ACL)的2倍。据统计PCL损伤已占到膝关节韧带损伤的20%[1],目前手术重建是治疗PCL损伤的有效办法,自体�N绳肌腱已被证明是ACL重建的良好移植材料[2-3],近来亦有重建PCL的报道[4-7],但临床约半数患者的股薄肌腱长度不足,此时腓骨长肌腱可作为良好的替代者。另外,先进韧带加强系统(ligament advanced reinforcement system,LARS)也以其良好的临床表现成为目前重要的移植材料。中国医科大学附属盛京医院(以下简称“我院”)关节、运动医学科采用上述两种移植物重建PCL取得良好的临床效果,现报道如下:
