酒吧的赌博
A guy walks into a bar, stopping to talk to everyone in the bar. As he finishes with each group of people, they all get up and leave and go stand outside the window, looking in.
一个家伙走进酒吧，和里面每个人耳语一番;全部讲完一轮后，大家全都起身离开酒吧，站在窗外往里头瞧。
Finally, the bar is empty except for this guy and the bartender.
最后除了这家伙和酒保外，整个酒吧就没其他人了。
The guy walks up to the counter, and says to the bartender, “I bet you $2,000 that I can spray beer from my mouth into a glass from forty feet, and not get any outside the glass.”
这个人走近吧台对酒保说：“2 000 块，打赌我能用嘴把啤酒喷到四十英尺外的酒杯里，而且一滴不漏。”
The bartender thinks that this guy is out of his mind, but he wants $2,000, so he agrees.
酒保觉得这家伙大概脑子有毛病，但有2000 块可赚，他当然同意。
The bartender gets out a shot glass , paces off forty feet, and the contest begins. The guy sprays beer all over the bar. He doesn't even touch the glass.
于是酒保拿出小杯，用脚步量出四十英尺，打赌比赛便正式开始。那个家伙把啤酒喷得酒吧里到处都是，小杯根本连碰都没碰到。
When he finishes, the bartender looks at him and says, “Well, I guess you owe me $2,000, huh?”

The guy answers, “Yeah, but I bet all of those people outside the window $500 each that I could come in here and spray beer all over the bar.”

A seaman meets a pirate in a bar. The seaman notes that the pirate has a peg leg, a hook, and an eye patch.

The seaman asks, “So, how did you end up with the peg-leg?”

I got mixed up with an alligator and it bit my hand off.

“Amazing!” remarked the seaman. “How did you get the eye patch? ”

“A seagull droppings fell into my eye”, replied the pirate.
“海鸥的粪掉到我的眼睛里。”海盗回答。
“You lost your eye to a seagull dropping?” the sailor asked.
“被海鸥的粪弄到眼睛就瞎了?”水手问道。
“Well,” remarked the pirate, “it was my first day with my hook.”
“不是啦，”海盗回答：“因为那一天我的手刚装上铁钩.”

喝一杯
A man is sitting at the bar. He looks sad as he stares into his glass. He has been looking at hisdrink for a long time, when a big burly man walks up behind him and says:
有个男子坐在酒吧里，盯着自己的酒杯，一副伤心模样。他望着自己酒杯好一阵子，有个魁梧的家伙走到他的身后说：
“Well, if you don’t drink it, I will.” And with that he finishes the man’s drink in one gulp.

The man at the bar starts to cry. The bigger man says, “Hey, I’ll buy you another drink. Don’tworry.”
酒吧这名男子哭了起来，大块头说：“嘿，我再请你喝一杯就是了，不需要这样嘛。”
“No, it’s not that. This day is the worst of my life. First, I fall asleep, and I ’m late to my office.My boss fires me.”
“不是啦，事情不是这样的。今天是我一生中最倒霉的一天，一开始是睡过头上班迟到，结果被老板炒鱿鱼。”
“When I leave the building to go to my car. I found out itwas stolen. I get a cab to return home. I leave home andcome to this bar. And when I was thinking about putting anend to my life, you show up and drink my poison.”
