Yiruma从5岁便开始学弹钢琴，后来移民到英国，并在当地音乐学校学习，Yiruma 的音乐融合了古典与现代调和之美。
Yiruma演奏的神情让人难忘，优雅的风格，脸上不时浮现些微的腼腆…，再加上精致的演奏技巧，予人一种非凡艺术家的深刻印象。
Yiruma目前是韩国最受欢迎的New Age音乐家，也准备好站上世界舞台
在电视剧「冬季恋歌」中担任配乐，Yiruma以一首「When The Love Falls」，细腻地铺陈都会男女爱情。
那音乐，像是从窗帘空隙中透过的春天阳光，总能适时让人觉得温暖，有时又像是在耳边盘旋久久无法忘怀的呢喃细语，总让人觉得体贴又多情，有时又像是一种藏在心中难以言喻的情感，引人遐想。
彷佛可以在Yiruma的《First Love初恋》专辑中，听见初恋的声音…
1978.2.15 出生汉城。
1990.9--1997.7 毕业於在伦敦的 "The Purcell of Specialist Music School"，主修钢琴
与作曲 。
1997.9--2000.6 毕业於 King's College of London University，主修作曲，师於 Harris
on Birtwishtle。
1992.6 在Fairfield Hall Croydon的 "年轻音乐节" （Young Musician's Festiva担任演
出
1996.12 参与 "The Musicians of Purcell" （Decca） 专辑。
1997.5 参与 George Benjamin 的作品 "Piano Duet for Two Piano" 专辑 。
在 Lontano Ensemble Workshop演出 "Piano Duet for Two Piano" 。
2000.4 为 "TAE" 戏剧制作一张特别的音乐， 由韩国与英国共同制作。
2001.5 出版第一张专辑 "Love Scene"。
2001.12 出版第二张专辑 "First Love"， 在世界知名的英国Metropolis制作 。
2001.12 在Youngsan Art Hall 举办 第一场音乐会 "First Love"。
2002.1 受邀在第36届坎城Midem唱片展表演， 并在韩国之夜演出。
2002.4 为电影 "Oasis" 制作一张特别的音乐专辑， 於2002年六月出版。
在他的音乐作品里， 展现了兼融东方的抒情与西方的典雅细致的音乐风格。 因主修古典钢琴与作曲，Yiruma展现他傲人的古典才情与欧洲人善感的特质；同时，纯净与清新的东方特色也呈现在他的音色里。藉由细致的音乐性探触，他精致的演奏技巧，予人一种非凡艺术家的深刻印象
