爱华网ABBA想必大家都很熟悉，唱过很多脍炙人口的流行歌曲，偏重迪斯科舞曲风格，也有一些民谣唱法的歌曲，像MamaMia，DancingQueen，Gimmy，gimmy a man after mid night,I have a dream, Thanks tothemusic...等等，被后人后辈翻唱无数，大牌如麦姐姐都翻唱过ABBA的一些歌曲，此为新瓶子装旧酒，江郎之日，可以救急，现在人可没那多功夫自己写词。
今天想介绍ABBA一首比较特别，个人也喜欢的歌，同其他的舞曲风格完全不同，就是这首Fernando，是一首比较独特的歌，以人名作歌名。这首歌不是情歌，而是一首诉说墨西哥在美墨战争中战败无奈的民族歌曲。歌词的大意是一个老人在回忆过去的岁月，老人对从前经历的无悔与自豪。这个老人是一个老游击队员，Fernando是他的战友，他们曾经一同为民族解放出生入死。特别由ＡＢＢＡ的女声演绎出来，别有一番韵味，每次听来，总能引起一番共鸣，想起无垠的夜空。。。ABBA之后，直到90年代，Roxette大红之日，瑞典才在欧美英文歌曲领地重新占有一地，此为后话。
