Step 1 Getting students ready for class.
(1) Greetings.
(2) Show time
Step 2 Reading
(1) Pre-reading: Learn new words and new phrases. Then guess
and check the reasons before reading
(2) While-reading: Fast reading and careful reading.
(3) Post-reading: Do 1b, then ask one student to check the
answers.
Step 3 Likes or dislikes
Learn how to show one’s likes or dislikes to sth. or sb. I like blue a lot / very much.
I like purple.
I like white a little.
I don’t like black.
I don’t like green at all.
Step 4 Pair work
Ask the students to make up new conversations in 2b with their partners and then ask some students to act them out. Step 5 Group work
Make reports in groups. Then each group show their reports. Step 6 Summary
Step 7 Homework
Make a survey and try to know people’s preferences for colors
